MORE than £27,000 has been raised by a charity shoot held near Thixendale on the Yorkshire Wolds.
Hosted by the Raisthorpe Flyers, the shoot was raising money for two charities: the Army Benevolent Fund and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.

"There was a champagne reception with entertainment from Malton's White Star Band, followed by an excellent meal and charity auction with Edward Stephenson as Auctioneer.
"Thanks to the generosity of all those taking part about£27,500 was raised for the two charities."
