SLEDMERE Home Farm will be joining the national Open Farm Sunday event again this year on Sunday, June 8.
Many farms across the country will be opening their doors to the public for them to learn more about farming in their local community and the processes and daily activities that take place.
Have a fun family day out at Sledmere and take a tractor and trailer tour of the farm and deer park on thedeer safari.
Get up close with some of the farm animals and learn more about farming. There will also be children’s crafts and activities, competitions and some of the farm machinery and vehicles will be on display. Admission to the event is free, but donations are welcomed for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Sledmere House and Gardens will also be open and usual admissions apply.
