SATURDAY, March 25 saw a dressage competition take place at Beckside Livery Stables near Whitby - the first in the Horslyx Spring dressage series.
A spokesperson for the stables said: "We had a lovely sunny day for the first in the Horslyx-sponsored Spring dressage and a good number of entries.
"The Intro senior was won by Fiona Hawes riding her own horse Noah on a fantastic score of 70 per cent, she has had him since a youngster and this is their first win.
"It was lovely to see so many young faces for the intro junior section with Milly McMorrow taking top spot on her lovely cob pony Brownie.
"The Prelim was won by Vicci Smith riding Laura Wooding's fell pony Bell on a big score of 71.55 per cent.
"The final class of the day was the PYO class and it was Vicci Smith who took top spot agin but this time with Shenna Davison's Welsh pony Bronheulog Royal Sapphire who is only new at this level."
