SUNDAY, February 26 saw the qualifier for the National Riding Schools Championship held at Friars Hill Stables in Sinnington.
The National Riding Schools Competition is open to non horse/pony owning riding school clients. There were thre classes: for those aged 12 years and under, 13 to 17 years and over 18 years.
For each class there was an age-appropriate quiz section, a dressage section and a showjumping course to complete.
The judge for the day at Sinnington was Thelma Else, BHSAI who was impressed by the calibre of horse and rider.

2 - Fiona Hardman
3 - Charlotte Beal
18 years and over
1 - Jess Thurlow
2 - Katie Burton
3 - Fiona Hill
The riders will now have a series of training sessions and will travel down to the National Riding Schools Competition Championships to be held at Warwickshire College in April.
A spokesperson for the stables said: "Many thanks to all those competitors who had a go at the competition this year. Please don't forget to enter next year."
