THE final meeting of the Yorkshire point-to-point season, the South Durham Hunt, took place at Howe Hills, Morden, on Saturday.

These images of the day's seven race card action were captured by Thomas Milburn. Racing started with an Open Maiden for four, five and six year olds, run over the shorter distance of 2m 4f. The winner in a tight finish was Midnight in Venice, ridden by Nick Orpwood.

The Hunt Race was won by Colorado Kid, ridden by Tom Hamilton. Second was Emma Yardley on Kilmacallogue Bay in another very tight finish.

In the Men's three ran; Richard Smith won on Know The Rules, with Nick Orpwood in second on Billing and William Easterby in third on Sportingfriendship.

In the Ladies', Jacqueline Coward won on My Old Piano, aged 14, while the Restricted was won by On Vacation and John Dawson.

The winner of the Confined was Tom Strawson on Nodform Richard. The winner of the Open Maiden was Christy Furness on Midnight Milly who was second last time at Witton.
