THERE was a day of dressage at Port Royal equestrian centre on Sunday, including intro, prelim and novice sections, and qualification for the winter championships.
The Prelim 5 junior section was won with a percentage of 70.26 by Megan Bainbridge.
After battling with nerves for the past two years following a series of accidents, Megan, 11, has been back in the saddle first with 13.2hh Barney and now with 14.2hh palomino Flint, owned by Anna Auster. Sunday was their first outing together in public. As well as the Prelim 5, they also rode to victory in the Intro 1 class.
The winter championships will be held at the Port Royal EEC on March 20.
