THE Hankin family stole the show at the Beckside livery stables dressage event last week.
The Hankins took the spoils with the top three spots in the junior intro, with Grace Hankin having her first taste of winning, her younger sister, Emmelane taking second and the eldest Carina in third spot.
Jess Shaw was another competitor to have her first win with her young Connemara, Joey, also taking fourth in the senior prelim.
The ever-consistent Vicci Smith and Milo took the lead in the senior prelim with 73 per cent, along with a second in the pick your own.
The results were: Class 1 senior intro – 1 Jess Shaw & Joey, 2 Christina Collinson & Rupert, 3 Vicci Smith & Sapphire, 4 Laura Grady & Jake, 5 Linda Winspear & Berry.
Class 1 junior intro – 1 Grace Hankin & Tom, 2 Emmelane Hankin & Tom, 3 Carina Hankin & Toby, 4 Issy Hogarth & Fred.
Class 2 senior prelim – 1 Vicci Smith & Milo, 2 Jacqui Shipman & Brawby Lane Ben, 3 Mel Tookey & Musto, 4 Jess Shaw & Joey, 5 Vicci Smith & Cracker, 6 Rachel Barker & Billy.
Class 2 under 16 prelim – 1 Becky Tookey & George, 2 Carina Hankin & Toby, 3 Xavia Crossling & Arty.
Class 3 PYO – 1 Rachel Barker & Billy, 2 Vicci Smith & Milo, 3 Briege Robertson & Hector, 4 Jacqui Shipman & Brawby Lane Ben, 5 Vicci Smith & Cracker, 6 Wendy Bulmer & Dungannon Lad.
