NORTHALLERTON Equestrian Centre is going full force with its competitions and events diary, with one or two things organised for everyday over the next three months.

The venue hosts a large number of various clinics in one of its two large indoor arenas, alongside competitions with options of indoor and outdoor arenas and a superb crosscountry, which manages to stay open for most of the year because of its sandy and well drained terrain.

The cross country course is available to hire on a daily basis and is great for all levels of riders and horses with its varying heights and difficulty.

The combined training competition proved a hard fought battle over all the classes with very few marks between all the competitors.

Class one had less the one per cent between Lucinda Burn and Lyn Hawksby, with Lucinda just pipping Lyn to the post.

The results were:

Class 1 – Lucinda Burn & Black Jack, 2 Lyn Hawksby & Daivan Dewin Du, 3 Boe Kennedy & Peppie, 4 Kim Chapman & Silver.

Class 2 – Gemma Kennedy & Amadeus, 2 Debbie Richmond & Echo Bay, 3 Adeline Jones & Coco, 4 Megan Durham & Beetle, 5 Julia Davison & Inglehow Castle Rock, 6 Gill Barthram & Inglehow Russian Star.

Class 3 – Helen Hinton & Monty, 2 Jenny North & Laddenbrook Illusion, 3 Kate Broatch & Eddie, 4 Sophie Minikin & Sam, 5 Rebecca Noble & Tigger, 6 Adeline Jones & Coco.

Class 4 – 1 Becky Childs & Fergie, 2 Kate Broatch & Bally, 3 Megan Bell & Frank, 4 Amanda Burn & Finn, 5 Jacob Noble & Nala, 6 Lloyd Newton & Pillow Talk III.
