SHOWJUMPING rider and instructor Faye Raw, from Weaverthorpe, made her return trip to the Longines Global Tour, in London, for the second year running.

This year it was held at The Horse Guards parade ground, which made for a stunning backdrop.

The event is one of the world’s most prestigious in the showjumping calendar, with the world’s best showjumpers attending, along with their trainers and owners in attendance.

Faye had the back up of her two sponsors, Aztec Diamond Equestrian, who supplied Faye with her clothing in and out of the ring, and Malton Equine Laundry, who help to ensure Faye’s horses’ rugs stay in the best possible condition.

Faye had two rides, Un Fils de Fuego, owned by Helen Bashford-Malkie and Wisconsin II, owned by another international showjumper, Ben Maher.

Faye continued her success in the two-star classes having places on all days over three classes on Un Fils de Fuego.

Faye enjoys a growing reputation in the sport and is one of the leading level two UKCC accredited coaches in North Yorkshire teaching all levels of riding with much success with her down to earth approach.
