AMY SMALL, from York, is having a cracking time on Sally Baker’s Wellbrow Dewdrop.

The pair kept up their winning streak with two first places in the prelim 7 and novice 24.

Having numerous successes in the show ring, working hunter classes and dressage, The pair will now be working hard with training preparations for the British Riding Clubs dressage championships at Hartpury College, in Warwickshire, next weekend. having won the qualifier at Richmond last November as part of a team with Malton Riding Club.

Sharon Bayston and Torbellino VII had a three per cent lead in the novice 27-second round of the trailblazers qualifier, along with a third in the elementary 49 second round.

Vicky Godliman, from Thornton-le-Clay, near York,had a clear win with a foot perfect test on Toby, in the elementary 49, which was the pair’s only test.
