FRIARS Hill Stables held the last of its winter series dressage competitions last weekend along with the final points for the class two series championships where points have been accrued over the winter season.

Holly Shepherdson and Longslade Dancing Firebird, from Hutton Buscel, notched up two wins in the intro and prelim classes putting them at the top of the leaderboard in the junior section of the championships.

Sandra Thurlow managed to hang onto the leaderboard for the championship, despite finishing sixth on this occasion in the prelim seven class.

Eliz Cook and the veteran Boss Tweed took home the senior championship for class three, and managing a very creditable fourth place in the prelim 18 and a second place in the novice section.

Jess Thurlow and Max were the outright winners for the novice class.
