CHARLOTTE MILNES, from Driffield, who is a regular on the British Eventing circuit, was keeping her two boys on their toes by putting in some dressage practise at Port Royal in readiness for next season’s eventing.

She took Cloughan Orchestra in the novice 27 to narrowly beat Jill Archbold with less than one per cent between them, and then a good lead margin with Forinth in the novice 30 and elementary 44 of more than three per cent.

Christian Allderidge was more than pleased with his gelding, Felix, who managed a second and first in prelim 1 and prelim 7 respectively.
