KIMBERLEY Emsley had a busy day at Snainton Riding Centre for their British Dressage competition, riding three different horses.

Kimberley took home first place in the Prelim 7 riding Michael Morley’s youngster, John Thomas, with a score of 68 per cent, then took fourth place in the same class riding Julie Crabtree’s Riverhead Outlaw and then finishing off in the same section with a sixth place on Dillys belonging to Michael Morley.

Another local rider, Cara Shardlow, on Rainton Woodlander took first place in the Prelim 14 and second place in the Novice 27.

The pair will have a quick trip back home to Sneatonthorpe, near Whitby, to pack up for this weekend’s Northern dressage inter-regionals being held at Keysoe Equestrian Centre.

Novice 27 restricted – 1 Amber Cree Twine & Foxholm Pure Silk, 2 Beth Robinson & Zalvadore L Novice 27 open – 1 Chris McGrann & Moonshine, 2 Cara Shardlow & Rainton Woodlander, 3 Sue Hirst & Carlton Bay.
