A PRIMARY school has expanded its early years facilities to welcome children from the age of three.

Luttons Primary School now offers a three-hour morning session for three to four-year-olds in their purpose-built early years classroom.

Alison Stephenson, acting headteacher, said that with a high adult to child ratio the pupils received excellent care in a bright and stimulating environment.

“Luttons is a small rural school, and the new nursery creates a beneficial service to families in the area,” she said.

The government provides parents with 15 hours free childcare each week and this entitlement can be used at Luttons. The school also offers lunches to their nursery group at an additional cost.
