PUPILS at Nawton Primary School have been baking to help raise money for their library.
The children made cakes and buns to sell, alongside books they had donated, collecting £88.
Headteacher Nicola Johnson said the money would be used to buy new books.
She said: “We always ask the pupils what sort of books they would like to read and the most popular books this time around have been ones by Michael Morpurgo.
“He has been very popular since they met him last year as part of the annual Ryedale Book Festival.”
