THE Friends of Norton Primary School have donated more than £4,000 to buy 20 iPads for pupils.
Chairman Caroline Stephenson said they had raised the money through a series of events, including fairs, raffles, discos and bingos.
“We rely heavily on the support of parents, carers and the school and are grateful for their help,” she said.
“The head-teacher Liz Parker asked if we could provide the money for iPads, which we were delighted to do so. They will be used by the pupils to research subjects they are currently studying.”
