Reasons to be cheerful

Hundred Reasons at Bradford Rio: Hundred Reasons are well and truly back.

After seemingly vanishing for the past year or so, HR have returned with an amazing new album, and from this performance, all of the drive and determination that will surely see the energetic five-piece back in the minds of everybody who dared to forget them.

Reasons were welcomed on to the stage by a large and very excited crowd.

The set was delivered with an energy and force that sent shockwaves through the venue and probably rattled a few windows in the nearby shops too.

Around an hours' music that had a delightful mix between Hundred Reasons classics such as 'Silver' and some sneak peeks at their new material such as 'The Chance' left the crowd screaming for more, and they got it. The hugely aggressive and attitude filled 'Live Fast, Die Ugly' left a very pleasurable ringing in the audience's ears and seemingly threw the majority of the crowd around the venue like leaves in a storm.

It's always nice to hear a band put on a live show that compliments their CD and Hundred Reasons managed just that, and some.

Gavrilo Princip (formally A DOG NAMED HERO, above) have split up. Guitarist Mike Harding cited musical differences as the main reason. The split seemingly occurred when former frontman Jake Lomas was voted out of the band and, shortly after, Mike Harding resigned.

We are yet to hear about what the four remaining members (Kai, Matt, Will and Dan) will do in the future. However, Mike has vowed to stay on the scene, and has several musical ideas that he wishes to explore in the future.

It's a big and sad loss to the scene, but we would like to wish all of the members good luck for the future!
