Dealer starts up in top gear

MOTOR retailer Nidd Vale has won the SEAT GO! Dealer of the Year award after only one year's trading with the franchise.

The award, which is based on the achievement of certain key performance indicators covering new and used car sales, aftersales service and systems and processes, was announced at a gala dinner at the Grove Hotel, Watford.

Nidd Vale chairman and chief executive Colin Hainstock said: "We are absolutely thrilled to win this award, which is a terrific endorsement of the commitment and effort made by James Warne, franchise manager of Nidd Vale SEAT, and his team."

Iain Carmichael, head of operations at SEAT UK, added: "The awards celebrate the achievements of the people who deliver a unique SEAT experience to our customers. This year, we are happy and proud to award the SEAT GO! Dealer award to a retailer new to the franchise. Nidd Vale has a strong people and process culture that typifies best practice in the SEAT dealer network."
