Caring for travellers

A new concept is to be launched offering accompanied trips and holidays for those requiring a fully experienced caring companion.

Care to Travel, which combines the expertise of Getaway Travel and Independent Home Living, will be launched on Saturday, February 18, at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre. From 11am to 3pm there will be the opportunity to talk to representatives from specialist travel companies.

One of the directors of the new venture, Alison Farrant from Independent Home Living, said: "We are delighted that 'Care to Travel' will be able to give so many people the confidence to get away for just a day, a weekend or even for a trip overseas.''
