Mindfold is a Dutch of class

ON February 19, we will see the first ever Dutch band appearing on the local scene.

The Emo band Mindfold are travelling to the UK to start a seven-date tour, and will be kicking it off right here in Ryedale!

This is a great example of the work The Ryedale DIY Collective has done to start to make Ryedale a music area that is recognised in its own right.

Mindfold are signed to the largest label in Holland (Squash Records) and fellow label mates San Andreas will be headlining the Y Rock Festival this summer.

The venue for the show will be confirmed in the next few days, but this is really going to be a fantastic event.

Mindfold will be supported by local bands Unapproved, Hedcage and My Friend Juliet.

The Invasion will also double up as the official launch gig for the 'Shifty' inspired clothing brand 'Animate'.

There will be more news on this show nearer the time, but this is another great step taken by Ryedale!
