Big break for My Friend Juliet

MY Friend Juliet are due to play a huge gig at the number one music venue in the new music capital of the North, Leeds, on February 18.

This is without doubt the biggest gig that has ever come the way of a Ryedale band, and it will be great to see the guys seize this break with both hands.

My Friend Juliet is the band that stands out in Ryedale at the moment as far as gigging and recordings go, and hopefully this gig will be the first of many high profile shows that will head the way of the Pickering quartet.

With more recording time being scheduled in, this is a great chance for the MFJ to get their name on the national map.

The Cockpit will be playing host to bands such as Babyshambles and Hundred Reasons in the near future, which gives you an idea of the kind of bands that usually gig there.

This is a fantastic chance for MFJ, but is also a great chance for the Ryedale fans to turn out in force and really make a night of it.

There will be a bus going from Pickering and through Malton, but seats are obviously limited in number, so get your place quickly!

You can get hold of tickets for the show by contacting Sam Robinson or Richard Thorp, or request your ticket and bus seat by logging on to www.MyFriendJuliet.com and contacting the guys through the site.

The only thing that could see February 18 be anymore special is that it is also Sam Robinson's 21st birthday, so help him celebrate it in style by going along to the show!
