Is your name on our shortlist?

THE waiting is over. Today we reveal the shortlisted finalists for the Gazette & Herald Business Awards.

A panel of judges, including Tony Tarpey from Garbutt & Elliott, John Guy from Business Link and Norman White from York, Selby and Malton Business Advice Centres plus representatives from our category sponsors have carefully studied the entries.

They have decided on a shortlist of three for each of the nine categories. Those shortlisted will be invited to the glittering awards ceremony at Castle Howard on December 5 where the winners will be announced and the overall Gazette & Herald Business of the Year chosen.

The awards night will be compered by Radio York's Elly Fiorentini and the guest speaker will be Sally Robinson who runs the successful mail order lingerie business AmpleBosom.

So congratulations to those who were shortlisted, commiserations to those who were not, and thank you to everyone who entered.

Those on the shortlist will be receiving details of the Castle Howard awards ceremony in the next few days.

The tension is mounting once again as we enter the final stage of the judging process. Watch this space!
