That's the Beauty of it

TEENAGER Helen Wright has achieved a schoolgirl ambition at just 19 - to become a beautician.

She has set up her own parlour, Beauty 4 You, in Eastgate, Pickering, above The Hair Shop, thanks to support from The Prince's Trust which helps young people set up their own enterprises.

Helen, who qualified at Yorkshire Coast College after attending Lady Lumley's School, specialises in waxing, nail care, and using dermatological products at her parlour.

Her ambition was given a big boost after she won the national finals of the Cover Girl make-up competition which, she says, spurred her own to set up her own business.

Beth King, who runs The Hair Shop, said: "Helen's business complements ours - we're delighted she has succeeded in taking the bold step to by her own boss. We wish her every success."

Helen said: "I've had a lot of support especially from The Prince's Trust and things are really looking rosy for the parlour."
