Six of the best step Forward

YORKSHIRE Forward has brought together six leading companies to deliver more than £2 million worth of marketing, design and advertising services for the next three years.

All of the firms will help to deliver campaigns, nationally and globally, which relate directly to the products and services which Yorkshire Forward delivers.

Brahm, DS Emotion, HDM Total Communications, MediaVest Leeds, Thompson and Words&Pictures with Atlas will make up the regional development agency's marketing services panel.

All of the companies were chosen through a tendering process.

The panel will carry out all the regional development agency's marketing and communications activity until 2008 alongside Yorkshire Forward's marketing communications team.

Theresa Lindsay, head of marketing communications at Yorkshire Forward, said: "The activities of regional development agencies can be difficult to communicate. The panel will enable us to bring consistency across the different delivery channels used by Yorkshire Forward to deliver its products and services.

"We believe that we now have a great breadth of expertise across the panel, bringing the best in creativity and innovative thinking in a way that gives the region value for money."

Projects which will be carried out by the Marketing Services Panel include the design and production of Yorkshire Forward literature, such as the external inform magazine, and the development of websites and e-marketing campaigns.
