Amotherby
The Amotherby Young Farmers' Club cheerleading team was chosen in March to compete at the Ryedale District Rally.
What started as a laugh turned into a serious competition when the team qualified at the district rally at Wintringham.
Recently they competed at county level at Pateley Bridge against many other Yorkshire YFC teams. (They were the only complete male team.)
Kirkbymoorside from Ryedale also came second at county level. Both teams are now on their way to compete at the Royal Show at the beginning of July.
