THOUSANDS of schoolchildren have flocked to North Yorkshire to learn about life in the country.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society's annual Countryside Days event, which brought together pupils from more than 90 schools, including St Joseph's RC Primary School in Pickering.
They were being introduced to countryside skills, as well as finding out more about rural life in general.
