Plan to raise awareness of the region's businesses

A PUBLIC relations firm has been appointed by Business Link York and North Yorkshire to manage its ongoing corporate PR programme.

The Partners Group of The Mount in York won the account in a competitive pitch. Over the next 12 months, the campaign will build on awareness of Business Link among North Yorkshire businesses, showing how they can benefit from the wealth of support services available to them.

The appointment follows a series of new business wins for the York agency that will generate more than £100,000 in fees.

They include the award of contracts from national hotel group Macdonald Hotels and Resorts Ltd to handle PR activity for its Yorkshire, North-East and Lake District hotels.

Partners have also been appointed by Doncaster-based special needs bathing and showering equipment manufacturer Eurocare Showers to manage an integrated campaign targeting local authorities nationwide.
