Malton: Forward from February 4 were 80 store cattle and 781 sheep including 270 breeding ewes.

Cattle: Lim bulls to £98 from AB Pollock, heifers to £542 from AM Wainwright; BB bullocks to £575 from AM Metcalfe, bulls to £562 from I and V Poole, heifers to £480 from I and V Poole; Ch heifers to £560 from I and V Poole; Blonde X bulls to £512 from R Boyes; Sim heifers to £495 from R and D Bell.

Sheep: In-lamb mule ewes to £75 from Ridge House Farms, Suffolk X ewes and lambs to £86 from A Temple, Suffolk X lambs to £47.20 from P Cass, Texel lambs to £42.20 from A and M Bower.

Forward on February 2 were 1871 head of stock comprising 384 cattle including 208 clean, 156 bulls, 20 cows, 807 sheep including 759 hoggs, 48 ewes and 680 pigs including 64 sows and nine boars.

Cattle: Steers light to 98.5p (94.1p), medium to 148.5p (114.1p), heavy top 136.5p (102.3p). Heifers light to 109.5p (98.6p), medium to 149.l5p (105.6p), heavy to 143.5p (109.6p). Bulls light to 121p (90.5p), medium to 130p (96.9p), heavy to 128p (100.7p).

Sheep: hoggs light to 141.9p (119.3p), medium to 132.9p (118.2p) heavy to 121p (110.1p). Ewes to £48 (£35.02).

Pigs: Pork to 90p (79.9p), cutters to 94.5p (80.4p), baconers to 95.5p (80.1p), overweights to 74.5p, (70.8p). Sows to 54p (47.4p), boars to 42p (39p).

Totals for livestock auction and collection centre sales over the seven days to February 7.

Forward were 317 live auction cattle; 971 sheep including 777 live auction, 74 ewes, 120 deadweight; 602 pigs, 131 live auction, 12 sows, 459 deadweight.
