Horse tales

A Show Cross competition will be held at Hamley Hagg, Appleton-le-Moors on Sunday, May 23. The showjumping will be held first and will be timed. Competitors will then go immediately to the cross-country course (untimed). The cross-country jumping order has been rearranged to add a bit of spice.

The event will be hosted by the Scarborough and District Riding Club, and will start at 9am. There are four classes - novice pony, novice horse, intermediate pony and intermediate horse. Entries from Mrs Graves, 3 High Street, Burniston, Scarborough YO13 0HH (with sae) or from local tack shops. Entries are available on the day at £18 + £2 medical cost. You can save £3 by pre-booking.
