The competition was played between Ryedale (Scarborough and District), Easingwold (Hambleton and District) and All Saints (York and District).
Ryedale won their first game 23-18 against Easingwold, with skipper Tom Parvin and Ben Swalwell scoring eight points each for Ryedale. Easingwold then beat All Saints 22-10, leaving Ryedale having to beat All Saints to claim the trophy. Ryedale finished as comprehensive winners with a score of 28-5.
