Georgina's one step ahead

GEORGINA Hall, of Kennythorpe, near Malton, is jumping for joy, as her entry has been chosen as the winner in the logo competition for Stamp Your Feet, the children's continental shoe shop that will be opening at 2 Yorkersgate, Malton, on Saturday, January 24.

As well as the logo featuring on all the stationery, signs and advertising for the shop, Georgina will be chauffeur-driven by Mini, courtesy of Malton Motors, York Road, Malton, to perform the opening ceremony.

She will then receive £150 worth of shoes from Stamp Your Feet and her mum or dad will receive a pedicure, courtesy of No 1 Health & Beauty, Market Street, Malton.

"It was very difficult to pick a winner as all the entrants had made so much effort, but Georgina's was just a little bit different," said Tina Boden, owner of Stamp Your Feet.
