Who's in the slim now?

TWO Ryedale slimmers are celebrating after losing a total of 120lb between them at Malton's branch of Weight Watchers.

Dawn Spiller, of Rillington, has lost 58.5lb while her friend Tracy, who lives in Settrington, has managed to shed 51.5lb since they joined the club in April.

"We both feel fantastic and it's really helped to have supported one another," said Tracy.

Tracy and Dawn each have three children and have been friends for several years.

Once they both reached their target weights, they treated themselves to a glamorous photo session at a studio in Hull.

Branch manager of Weight Watchers Megan Fletcher is delighted with the duo: "They have done so well, really got through it together, and the nice thing is that they have inspired others in the group."

Now they have a taste for a challenge, they can't stop. Tracy said: "Our next aim is to give up smoking!"
