    NORTON trainer Brian Ellison and his star chaser, Latalomne, suffered heartbreak for the second successive year at the Cheltenham Festival last week. In a virtual carbon-copy replay of his spectacular exit from the 2002 Queen Mother Champion Chase, Latalomne fell at the very same penultimate fence, again when at the head of affairs. read more

    RJF Homes Beckett League - On Saturday, Sinnington scored twice in each half to take the points from Aislaby United. The Sinners, who welcomed back David Waind in goal, saw Gary Mitchell and Stuart Wilkinson notch in the first half, followed by second half goals from Paul Harland and Rob Atkinson. Man of the match winners were Richard Hutchinson (Sinnington) and Pete McGrath (Aislaby Utd), with impressive performances by Dave Wilkinson, David Brown, Matthew Brown and Stuart Wilkinson for the Sinners. read more
