Premiere for Sugar Daddies

ALAN Ayckbourn is currently at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre directing the world premiere his 64th play.

Sugar Daddies will be staged at the Stephen Joseph until August 2 and then between August 15 and September 13.

The play is a cautionary comedy of dark intentions. When Sasha comes to the aid of Father Christmas, could this prove to be the start of a beautiful friendship? Or are there dangerous times ahead for her? Is anything quite as it appears? Should she follow her heart or listen to the warnings of her friends? And just who is the one-eyed stranger who has mysteriously entered her life?

The cast features Stephen Joseph Theatre regulars Alison Pargeter and Terence Booth, who are joined by Anna Brecon (best known for her role as Lady Tara in Emmerdale), Rex Garner and Eliza Hunt.

Tickets cost between £9.50 and £15.50 (with reductions available) and can be booked by calling the box office on (01723) 370541.
