Cattle: steers, med to 112.5p (95.45p), heavy to 120.5p (94.56p); heifers, light to 95.5p (94.95p), med to 123.5p (95.65p), heavy to 119.5p (97.34p); bulls, light to 90.5p (88.79p), med to 113.5p (94.77), heavy to 110.5p (96.74p).

Forward on May 7 was a record delivery of 555 cattle and 60 sheep at the special May Day sale. An very large number of buyers were present trade was buoyant trade for all classes of stock.
