ON April 29, Kirkbymoorside Young Farmers held a meeting at Church Houses, Kirbymoorside. On June 14, the club will hold a dance and barbecue, starting at 8pm, at Hall Farm, Welburn, near Kirkbymoorside, by kind permission of Mr J Shaw. RILLINGTON

THINKING on their feet after a change in programme had members playing on them, as we got footloose with a game of football at Rillington playing fields on Tuesday evening.

Oh, happy 20x2 birthday to Jenny Coupe, "Mother Rillington" to members.

REMINDER: It's a big weekend for the Yorkshire federation of Young Farmers Clubs at the end of the month.

At Nidderdale showground, Patley Bridge, on the evening of Friday, May 30, there is a hog roast and disco. The county show will be held at the venue on the Sunday, June 1 - everything from a horse whisperer to dog trials. Throughout the day, it's a showcase of everything the YFCs get involved with.
