In the merry month of May...

CHILDREN from Ryedale laced up their dancing shoes as they got involved in May Day celebrations.

More than 20 youngsters, from Sinnington Primary School, performed maypole, clog and stick dancing on bank holiday Monday.

The children, aged between seven and ten, had been practising since February. They all volunteered to take part in the dancing, which formed part of the village fair in Sinnington, near Pickering.
