Showjumping at Irton

THE final showjumping competition of the season was held at Irton Equestrian Centre on Sunday, March 23, when trophies were awarded for each class.

The competition was judged by W H Downs, who presented trophies to Sophie Raw, Nicola Carr, Claire Spence, Martin Turnbull, Jacob McCulloch, Andrea Schofield, Wendy Bulmer, Emma Ashworth and, for the pairs, Sophie Raw and Nicola Carr.

Horse clear round - Diana Grayson on William, Josie Kaywood on Charlie, Emma Ashworth on Amber, Karen French on Freddie.

Novice horse - 1 Emma Ashworth on Amber, 2 Candice Thorpe on Harvey, 3 Andrea Schofield on Maddison, 4 Karen French on Freddie.

Intermediate horse - 1 Wendy Bulmer on What The Dickens, 2 Liz Blackburn on Alli, 3 Wendy Bulmer on Mac, 4 Andrea Schofield on Maddison.
