Pedal power for pupils in Pickering

CHILDREN at St Joseph's Roman Catholic School in Pickering now have an extra reason to look forward to play-time.

The Friends of St Joseph's have donated two double-seater and two single-seater tricycles, costing £200 in total, for the children to play on during break-time.

Acting headteacher Stafford John said: "The bikes will help the children develop good coordination skills and are great fun for them to use.

"We are very grateful to the friends for donating them."
