Bike weekend proves a hit

THOUSANDS of motorcyclists from across the UK and Europe gathered in Helmsley over the weekend for the annual Farmyard Party.

Organiser Peter Walker said visiting motorcyclists and local residents were entertained by live bands and motorcycle skill demonstrations.

"It was a tremendous weekend which went on from the Friday evening until Sunday," he said.

"Everyone was well-behaved because they were there just to enjoy themselves."
