God's Country

The misty morning starts the day,

Seagulls dance above the bay.

The sun glides across the land,

The tide washes the grains of sand.

Village churches small and large,

Along the canal the sailing barge.

Waterfalls cascade and flowing down,

Rivers stretch from town to town.

The streams twinkle in the light,

The dale and vale, a heavenly sight.

So stunning and breathtaking is the view,

This is God's country through and through.
