MALTON

Forward on June 4 were 9 fat cattle and 610 fat sheep.

Cattle: Bulls to 79.5p per kg (75.37p).

Sheep: Lambs, light to 128.4p (125.91p), standard to 138.3p (125.75p), med to 121.8p (120.14p) ewes to £46.50 per head (£29.45).

RUSWARP

Forward on May 29 were 67 cattle comprising 52 store cattle, 10 calves, three dairy cattle, two suckler cows with calves at foot; 49 ewes with 67 lambs at foot.

Cattle: Newly-calven dairy cows to £500, dairy bulling heifers to £365, sucklers with bull calves to £590. Store cattle - Lim, steers to £410, heifers to £325; Ch, bulls to £425, steers to £360, heifers to £318; Sim steers to £420; AA steers to £532; Fr, bulls to £320, steers to £295.

Sheep: Ewes with lambs at foot - Mule singles to £64, Swale 1.1/2s to £31, Scots 1.1/2s to £36.

Forward on May 29 were 191 cattle, including 67 bulls and 27 cows; 803 sheep including 136 ewes; 506 pigs including 88 sows and boars.

Cattle: Steers, light to 93.5p (88.33p), med to 101.5p (93.05p), heavy to 101.5p (89.4p); heifers, light to 87.5p (82.27p), med to 128.5p (94.26p), heavy to 103.5p (91.58p; bulls, light to 107.5p (81.79p), med to 108.5p (92.6p), heavy to 111.5p (91.26p).

Forward on May 30 were 152 finished cattle including 69 young bulls; 1,016 finished sheep including 612 spring lambs and 305 ewes; 297 finished pigs including 175 sows and boars.
