TV experts unearth artefacts

TV's Time Team sleuths claim to have found one of the houses in the lost village of Henderskelfe, in the grounds of Brideshead Revisited's Castle Howard.

Other finds include pieces of pottery and masonary.

The tile, pictured above, understood to be medieval, was found on the North Front of Castle Howard.

Visitors have the chance to see Time Team today - the final day of their three day dig - as the grounds are open as normal.
