Latalomne set for big league

Latalomne, an exciting recruit to fences, extended his unbeaten sequence to three at Sedgefield on Tuesday and is now set for promotion to the major league.

Norton trainer Brian Ellison has the options of either sending him to the big Festival meetings at Cheltenham or Aintree.

"I don't know what we'll do yet, but the weather will play a part as he's a horse who likes good ground and doesn't want it too soft."

Accomplished conditional jockey Vinny Keane never had an anxious moment on Latalomne, the odds-on fvourite, who strolled home 12 lengths clear of his nearest rival.

Ellison and Keane are enjoying a good run and were also on the mark with Sam Quale in the novices' chase at Newcastle last Saturday.
