Young swimmers awarded with life-saving medals

A group of youngsters, aged between 12 and 13, were presented with Millenium medallions by the Royal Lifesaving Society at Ryedale Pool, Pickering last Saturday.

They completed their junior life-saving exams in December after attending a Saturday morning course.

Christopher Ogg and Luke Flintoft (both 14) also received RLSS bronze medallions, having gained their Millenium medals earlier in the year.
