Notice of making of Rail Crossing Extinguishment and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Section 118A, Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Section 53a(2) North Yorkshire County Council Footpath No. 25.109/6 (Part), Station Cottages, Kirkham, Whitwell-On-The-Hill Extinguishment Order 2017
The above Order, made on 13 December 2017, under Section 118A of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended by the Transport and Works Act 1992) and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will extinguish the public footpath described below and modify The Eastern Part of the County of the Former North Riding of Yorkshire Definitive Map and Statement according­ly. Part of Footpath No. 25.109/6, commencing at its junction with the C181 road at Kirkham Bridge, Grid Reference 47333 46577 and running north-west, passing Station Cottages and crossing the railway line to the footpath junction at GR 47316 46589, a total distance of approximately 210 metres. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and maybe seen free ofcharge during normal office hours at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton YO17 7LJ until 14 February 2018. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/ pathnotices. Anyrepresentations about or objections to the Order maybe sent in writing to Andrew Hunter, Definitive Map Team, County Hall, Northallerton, DL7 8AD not later than 14 February 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections orrepresentations receivedmaybedisclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unop-posed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been with-drawn will be sentwith the Order.
