NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING (DISTRICT OF RYEDALE) (AMENDMENT NO 5) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing no waiting restrictions between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, on the roads in Amotherby specified below:-
High Street/Main Street (Both Sides) - From a point 149 metres north of the B1257, northerly for 25 metres; From a point 229 metres north of the B1257, northerly for 18 metres and from a point 20 metres south of the junction of Meadowfield, northerly for 38 metres.
Meadowfield (Both Sides) - From the junction of Main Street, westerly for 15 metres and from a point 10 metres west to a point 10 metres east of the junction of Cherry Tree Walk. Cherry Tree Walk (East Side) - From the junction of Meadowfield, south for 20 metres.
Cherry Tree Walk (West Side) - From the junction of Meadowfield, south for 12 metres and from a point 93 metres south of the junction of Meadowfield, south, east then north around the turning area terminating at a point 97 metres south of the junction of Meadowfield.
A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 7LJ during normal office hours from 29 November 2017 until 22 December 2017 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to "Area 4 Kirby Misperton Highways Office, Beansheaf Industrial Park, Tofts Road, KirbyMisperton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 6BG" or bye-mail to area4. kirbymisperton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 22 December 2017.
(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (VARIOUS ROADS, SETTRINGTON) ORDER 2017 NOTICE is hereby given that on 20 November 2017 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour on the lengths of road in Settrington village specified below:-
Chapel Road - From the junction of Forkers Lane, westwards to the junction with Town Street (a distance of 294 metres);
Town Street - From the junction of Chapel Road, north westwards for a distance of 44 metres;
Back Lane - From the junction of Chapel Road, southwards for a distance of 50 metres;
Forkers Lane - From the junction of Chapel Road/Church Lane, northwards for a distance of 25 metres; and
Church Lane - From the junction of Forkers Lane/Chapel Road, southwards for a distance of 48 metres.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 4 December 2017, maybe examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 7LJ during normal office hours from 29 November 2017 until 1 January 2018 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
