NEWTON Fred On June 30th 2014, peacefully after a long illness, of Brompton by Sawdon, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Sylvia, loving dad of Andrew and Graham, dear father-in-law of Trish and Rachel, grandad of Amber, Tom and Amy and a dear brother and uncle. Service at All Saints' Church, Brompton by Sawdon, on Monday July 14th at 1.00pm., followed by interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations to All Saints' Church, Diabetes UK and St Catherine's Hospice. Collection at service or send c/o F A Stockill and Son, Funeral Directors, Snainton, Scarborough. Please wear brightly coloured ties at Fred's request.
