THIEVES stole 12 bottles of medical Nitrous Oxide from a hospital in East Yorkshire.
The bottles of BOC branded N 2O gas, which is also known as 'Laughing Gas', were reported stolen from Bridlington and District Hospital in Bessingby Road, Bridlington yesterday. Six were five feet tall, and six were two feet tall, and all are blue in colour.
The gas is used as a general anaesthetic by the hospital and is potentially dangerous if misused, but also needs to be stored appropriately.
Humberside Police have urged anyone with information about the thefts, or who has been offered the gas bottles for sale, to contact them on 101, or hand them in to their nearest police station.
