A DRIVER managed to escape injury after a crash at a petrol station.
A blue Ford Fiesta crashed into the filling caps on a petrol station forecourt in Seamer Road, Scarborough, at just before 1pm yesterday (Thursday).
North Yorkshire fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Scarborough and Filey to the car, which had come to rest on top of the fuel tanks.
A spokesman said the driver was not injured in the crash, the car was later recovered, and the incident was left with police.
